Birthday Observations: Out of the Mouths of Babes

Connor celebrated his seventh birthday on Friday.

Friday morning Connor ran excitedly into our room, jumping on the bed with a big Good morning!
Patrick responded with a Good morning, birthday boy!  Do you feel different at seven?
Yes, replied Connor, my FEET are FASTER and my LEGS are LONGER!  They grew during the night!
Silly as that may sound, I think it just may have been the truth.  Sunday at his cross country meet, Connor shed just shy of FIVE MINUTES off of his 2K time! 
I don’t think that would have been possible without FASTER FEET and LONGER LEGS!  Do you?
Happy Birthday, Little Bean!
